Man, this forum is great for info and other things but it is SO SLOW... Now im new here as of yesterday but so far every page takes 10 - 15 sec to load and today when it finally does load ive been getting a "Database Error" page and have to click back and try again, took me about 6 tries just to get here. I hope this is temporary tech probs cause like i said i really like this site but.....
PS - God must like stupid people cause he sure made alot of them!
If any Moderators read this and know why there is tech probs or if they are working on it, any info would be great. Like this forum and want to continue sharing here with others. Maybe this is all premature and the site was overloaded with traffic this morning and it'll get better, if so sorry bout complaints. Anyway, I've seen other posts about site being slow, so if a Mod could reply to this that would be great. GREAT SITE though, I wont be leaving in a hurry, thats for sure. Have a nice day! TY
it is totally worth waiting the extra minute or two for free passwords, im sure the mods and admins are aware of this problem and doing their best to fix it.
now I have dsl but site was not slow yesterday or today for me.Now if your dial-up-lol Bro as site has lots of info to load up.Thought I would let ya know-gl on getting your problem fixed.
yes we are aware of the issues but as we grow so it the need to update and sometimes you catch us in the middle of working on issues or you find it a very crowded time on the forum Tonite example I am zipping around the forum so Admin must have added another tweak.

TY for the info guys. It does get better at times though. I have a Broadband connection with 5mb up, maybe im just spoiled and used to my pages coming up instantly. Anyway, thanks Mod, you guys have a GREAT site with some genius ideas, I won't be leaving cause of slow speeds but it is good to here a little reassurance that the site listens to their members and their on top of it. TY again!
We are doing everything we can to make the forum as fast as possible, some things have worked, and some things havent.
So far we have moved our hosting around as follows:
shared 'normal' hosting
shared 'premium bandwidth' hosting
shared server VPS hosting
Big VPS hosting
small private standalone server
AND ON MONDAY:
we moved to a big-ass private server.
each move up the tree has cost more money, but the traffic that we have been getting has been huge.
On a saturday and Sunday evening we have upwards of 150 people online simultaneously, and the amount of data needed to keep that many people going over a 4-6 hour period is immense.
The forum has been nice and quick since our move earlier this week, and I have a few more tweeks coming up on saturday morning so hopefully the speed this weekend will be better still!!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa goooooooooooooooooooo pfp site isn't slow where i'm from but i do have a good computer and better internet connecction then probally 90% of the people out there cause i work for a internet provider but this site is da bomb loving all the passwords hahahahaha a site where gettin passwords for tournys where ur not getttin ragged on is great lol well gl at the tables every one and hope the site starts going a bit quicker for u guys later.
