can't reply in threads

whenever i try to post a reply in a thread (quick reply and normal reply) i can not because there is no button anywhere on the page to do so. this is a relatively new problem for me since i do have a few posts and know how to reply. i think it probably has to do with the server upgrade but im not sure. if this is some fault of my own tell me what i must do to fix it. thank you

you need to hit this button (bottom left of the post you are replying to):

then type your post, and press:"post quick reply" underneath the text entry area.
